Thank you for joining in this Bible Study today. We are focusing on John 1:19-28 as we look to the Word together.

The question we will begin with is: How much like John the Baptist are you?

After you listen to the message, here are three questions for you to discuss with others.

  1. How have you prepared the way for Jesus in someone else’s heart?
  2. Can you give an example of going low in humility so that Jesus could be lifted up?
  3. What is one thing you could do in the next week that would prepare the way for Jesus in someone’s life?

  2. Do you have a testimony of God’s limitless love in your life?
  3. What happens when a church stresses more truth than grace? More grace than truth?

  1. Why is it important in the Bible says that the “Word was God?”
  2. What do you see that is important in Colossians 1:15-20
  3. Describe a time when Jesus was really a light in your life.
  4.  Who can you pray for today that has not fully understood Jesus as their life and light?

The Vital Center
